One exception, so the sentence above stays true: the photographs are AI-generated. We haven't run enough public events yet to show you real guests, and we weren't going to imply otherwise. Everything that isn't a photograph is the real thing.
She scans the sign and checks herself in
One printed sign at the head of the line, the same QR for everybody. Aroha gives her name and email on her own phone while she waits, and gets a code back. That code is the only thing tying her to her photos — there is no face scanning at any point.

The email lands before she's back to her seat
Sent on behalf of the church, not from us — their name is on it. It carries a link, not attachments, so it stays light and lands in the inbox rather than the promotions tab.
Her photos, hers to keep or hers to delete
This is the real page, served by the same handler that serves real guests. The downloads are real files. The delete button really works — press it and the photos go, exactly as they would for a guest who changed their mind.

Three things worth noticing
Nobody's face was scanned
Aroha was matched to her photos by a code she chose to type, not by her face. There is no biometric template, no gallery-wide matching, and nothing to disclose to a board or a parent beyond what she typed herself.
The delete button isn't decorative
It removes the photos from storage, not just from view. Every delivery email carries it, so a guest never has to find you to get their photos taken down.
It expires on its own
Photos delete themselves after 30 days on a paid event, without anyone remembering to do it. You can set that shorter.

Fifteen guests free, no card. After that it's US$50 for an event up to 400 guests — one flat price, paid once. Use your own camera and your own laptop.
