No face recognition. Ever.
Most instant-delivery platforms match people to photos by scanning faces. PopStudio never does. Guests opt in by checking in, and their own code does the matching — so there is nothing biometric to collect, protect, leak, or explain to a church board.

Before you ask
The four questions everyone has
Do I need special hardware?
A camera you already own, a laptop, and a USB cable. PopStudio tethers to Canon, Nikon and Sony bodies — see the camera guides for your brand. There is no machine to hire, ship or store.
What if the venue wifi is bad?
The app keeps working. Frames are captured, developed and queued on the laptop; uploads and emails send themselves when the connection returns. Church halls and market sheds were the reason we built it that way.
Do you use face recognition?
No — and we never will. Guests are matched to their photos by the five-character code they chose to check in with. We collect no biometric data of any kind. Here's the full position.
What happens to the photos afterwards?
They're stored securely and delete themselves automatically after your retention window (30 days by default). Guests can delete their own photos any time from the link in their email. You keep your originals.
